Client Connectivity Engineering/Development (Asia Pacific)
This is a regional role providing support for Client Connectivity across the region. Specific responsibilities include:
- Provide first and second line system support for Client Connectivity
Infrastructure/clients - Set-up/configure and test with clients
- Manage/track connectivity issues.
- QA/Test new releases of connectivity infrastructure
- Independently take to completion client connectivity/FIX projects
The person fitting this role will have:
- excellent communications skills
- proactive , has initiative, diligent and hardworking
- ability to work under pressure in trading situations
- good educational background
- good Japanese language skills
- good IT system knowledge of UNIX, Windows, Databases (SQL) and networks
- development skills include C, C++, Shell script, VBA, Perl
- prior indepth experience in FIX support area in some of the top players
- Good knowledge of Japanese markets
- Demonstrable experience of working with Japanease clients/vendors on FIX
connectivity - is able to manage his/her own workload and work with minimum supervision
- understanding of the trading process (has worked in a similar role)
desirable - good understanding of backoffice systems
