Dear Sir/Madam,
I am a recruiter working in Tokyo looking for a person to work in a large investment bank for the equity application delivery team. The person would work on the client connectivity and autotrading side of the application delivery team.

Job description: The successful candidate will join the Client Connectivity Group and be responsible for production management of electronic trading systems for the far east region. The client connectivity group supports FIX trading (equities and fixed income products) as well as home-grown trading applications. Job responsibilities include: - client integration (the process of on-boarding new clients: configuring order routing, certifying clients’ OMS and deploying configurations to production) - monitoring/support - outage management (analyzing impact, troubleshooting, escalating, writing post mortem reports…) - tools integration/development The ideal candidate is a junior connectivity technologist wishing to work in a fast paced environment and interact with clients, business units and other IT groups.
Required technical skills: SQL, working knowledge of Unix/Linux and Windows XP, basic understanding of networking/firewall Required product knowledge: Equities Optional technical skills: FIX protocol, Excel macros, VPN, XML/SOAP, Perl, TSE/OSE exchange connectivity Optional product knowledge: Fixed income Language requirements: bilingual English/Japanese business level. Education: Undergraduate degree or above in a computer science/scientific/mathematical/engineering concentration.
