A question about usage of Done for Day order status.

What that mean? I am not allowed any action on the order until Order is in Restate state.

Done for Day is generally sent from the executing party indicating that there will be no more executions sent for that order during the current trading session. It’s often used to communicate a readiness to begin the allocation and booking process.

You are right. If you want to work on order (like apply executions, CxlReplace etc) you need to reopen it, because DFD is an indication to start back-office activities (book etc).

Normally if an order is "DFD" and we receive a CxlReplace on it, we reopen the order automatically (even if its booked) (to keep customer/trader happy :slight_smile: ). New executions can be booked separately.

I guess, system should be flexible to switch orders from active to DFD.
