A Major financial services firm is looking for an Exchange Connectivity Engineer to conduct testing and integration of new FIX Electronic Trading Order Management and Routing infrastructure for the Equity Trading Business Unit. The responsibilities of this position include the planning, execution and support of turnovers/upgrades to implement new infrastructure and upgrade existing systems in the production environment.
Required Skills: Must have strong knowledge of Unix, and strong scripting capabilities (perl is a big plus). A potential candidate should have extensive experience with FIX protocol and a strong background in systems integration of Equity Trading applications and products. Having Experience working with ECNs, and or Third Party OMS/Connectivity vendors are a major plus. This position also requires a solid understanding of connectivity, networks, firewall and tcp/IP protocol.
