An elite financial firm in the NYC area is currently looking for a Sr. Business Analyst to join their equity derivative trading desk. This person will be needed to work closely with front office business units to establish technology requirements.
The ideal candidate should have a quantitative or engineering background along with 2-4 years of work experience in the following areas:
· A solid understanding of derivatives: how they are derived, how they are valued, how they are hedged etc.
· Must have experience working on a demanding derivatives trading desk.
· Must have strong understanding of SDLC.
· Should have understanding of financial protocols such as FIX or CMS.
· Strong desire to be an expert in both the business and technology areas of the bank.
· Any unix or perl skills would be a big plus.
