ExDestination(100) and ExecBroker(76)

Imported from previous forum

Does anybody know what is the difference between ExDestination(100) and ExecBroker(76) tags?
They seem so similar.

ExDestination is used on the New Order Single to specify a target/desired exchange to execute the order on. For example, in the U.S. IBM trades on NYSE, Midwest Stock Exchange, Pacific Stock Exchange, etc.

ExecBroker identifies the broker who executed the trade.

It is also worthwhile to note that ExDestination is more restrictive in format. It must correspond to an enumeration that consists of Reuters codes for various exchanges, or some numeric codes that FPL assigned exchanges/ECNs/ATSs that do not have Reuters codes.

ExecBroker is free-form text; it is usually recommended in the US that the 4-letter MPID of the firm is used.
