FIX Business Analyst - FX Connectivity Investment Banking - LDN
As a Business Analyst within the FX Front/Middle Office you will need a sound understanding of the FIX Protocol including: FIX 4.2 - 4.4 protocol, FIX RFQ & streaming models, FIX engine configuration (persistence, HA pairing, store and forward etc) and FIX engine running and monitoring including monitoring consoles and session management.
Within a leading Investment Bank, this is a client facing role that will involve reviewing and evaluating the bank’s FIX offering and take responsibility for the FIX on-boarding. This will include working closely with the technical developers, developing business cases and functional designs. You would ideally come from a business analysis background with API, client connectivity and systems integration experience. There is a large degree of scope within this role as the team is growing and will be looking for a candidate that could potentially take a Team Lead position once other members join.
Although this is not a technical position additional experience of Scripting (Perl or ksh), Unix/Linux, Java, C++ or commodities knowledge would be very beneficial to your application.
