Fix connectivity with OMGEO and GSTPA (Axion4)

Hello,

I am in charge of a strategic architecture survey for one of the main French Financial Company in term of Asset Management and on the followed trail is to be able to use simustaneously FIX for pre-trade management and Omgeo (CTM) or Axion 4
for both pre-settlement processing including matching and post-trade management .

Is there anybody who can gives me a view in term
of is it possible to generate allocation message using FIX format to these solution or must i only generate message using a standard format suxh as ISO15022 XML or simply ISO15022 format.

In the FIX 4.3 version we did add functionality to support the Virtual Matching Utilities (VMUs) like Omgeo and GSTPA.
FPL also had discussions with GSTPA regarding the use of FIX as an interface format. This included discussions regarding the potential use of a FIX gateway which would allow FIX users to interface with the GSTPA. I believe they may support this functionality but it might be best to ask GSTPA and Omgeo this question.

For your reference I’ve attached a link to a document put together by the SIA which describes the Post-trade standards landscape. It highlights some of the issues related to interoperability within the post-trade space.

For the start the best would be using ISO 15022 XML based messsages for allocations for GSTPA/Omgeo .GSTPA/Omgeo has already defined the ISO 15022 XML based allocation messgages.
