This role is with a leading Global Investment Bank who require an engineer who specialises in client connectivity, especially with the FIX protocol. The basic responsibilities of this role will include problem management, implementation of new client connections, implementation of new vendor systems and day to day system management and support. The technical environment is primarily UNIX / Windows NT / 2000/ XP, some further skills will ideally include some scripting but this is not essential. The business area is equities so knowledge of this area will be beneficial. The salary range is £45-60K dependant on experience.
