London based investment bank is looking to find a Senior Technical Specialist to join their client connectivity group. This group supports the direct FIX connections, connectivity third party systems (GL, Bloomberg, RITD, TradingScreen etc) and their own product allowing clients direct access to most of the major exchanges. This is a key hire so will require you to work closely with both internal and external users in the definition and build of new connections while supporting existing clients. In addition you will be working closely with different vendors on new implementations. This is a varied and technically challenging position requiring excellent knowledge of UNIX and FIX (2yrs in similar role should suffice). Desirable skills include C++, JAVA, SQL, Networking / internet, Project Management.
