Major Investment Bank is looking to expand their hugely successful connectivity team in London and New York.
This team is responsible for the development, maintenance and support of the systems used to connect to clients, brokers and exchanges. Across both the Equities and Fixed Income product ranges. They are looking to hire Senior Developers, Client Connectivity Support and FIX Support Specialists. These are major opportunities to become key parts of the electronic trading technology team (across all asset classes). You will be responsible for setting-up, testing and support new customers that are connecting electronically to their trading systems over the FIX protocol.
To be successful for any of these roles, you will have excellent knowledge of equities. Excellent knowledge of the FIX protocol and its usage is an absolute must. Previous experience of client FIX certification/on boarding process (at least 2 years). Good understanding of OMS and distributed systems in a UNIX environment. It is also expected that you will have strong programming skills in C++ or Java and have good knowledge of Sybase, SQL, UNIX, NT.
