Our Client, A Prestigious Investment Bank, seeks Fix Connectivity Specialist. The primary responsibilities of this position include testing and integration of new FIX Electronic Trading Order Management and Routing infrastructure. As a member of the FIX client connectivity team, a candidate will be responsible for the development and integration of FIX interfaces between Our Client and their external clients. Daily responsibilities include managing the configuration and testing of FIX gateway that provide our clients with access to proprietary front end trading applications, strategy engines and direct exchange destinations. This position involves working very closely with equity/futures.fixed income. FX business unit clients, client application development groups and third party vendors to establish system requirements. It will require designing fix specification and FIX message format to accommodate the individual trading and order handling requirements to their clients.
Tech: MS windows and Unix - database: sybase or oracle or ms sql server. Able to do Sql Queries understanding of connectivity, networks, firewalls, and TCP/IP protocol.
Knowledge of OTC and Exchange Traded Products a plus
