Business Client Connectivity Specialist
A major global investment bank is looking for client connectivity specialists in New York and London responsible for facilitating client connectivity for various desks using a mixture of direct FIX connections and third party vendors. This role encompasses coordinating all connectivity, certification, and documentation of engagement. The person in this role will be responsible for providing pre-installation assistance for clients; from discussing connectivity and order routing options, to coordinating clients all the way through to their first day of trading.
Required Skills:
Experience working with FIX Engines and Protocols (not someone who develops engines, but has worked with FIX engines to handle connectivity issues).
OMS trading system knowledge
Excellent Communications skills - both verbal and written
Ability to work in a highly motivated workplace
Self starting skills and attention to details essential
Ability to learn quickly
Additional Skills that are pluses:
Cash Equities business experience
Strong Business Acumen - experience with ECNs, DOT, booking and Electronic Trading
Series #7
Perl and Unix experience
