Implementation Project Manager
A major global investment bank is looking for client connectivity specialists in New York to be responsible for facilitating client connectivity to various desks and electronic trading products using a mixture of direct FIX connections and third party vendors. This role encompasses coordinating all connectivity, certification, and documentation of engagement. The person will be responsible for providing pre-installation assistance for clients; from discussing connectivity and order routing options, to coordinating with clients for their first day of trading. Position will also involve trade support but will primarily be focused on implementation and certification.
Required Skills:
FIX knowledge and experience troubleshooting FIX messaging in real time.
OMS trading system knowledge.
Excellent communications skills - both verbal and written.
Ability to work in a highly motivated workplace.
Self-starting skills and attention to details essential
Ability to learn quickly
Additional Skills that are pluses:
Cash Equities business experience.
Strong Business Acumen - experience with ECNs, DOT, booking and Electronic Trading (DMA), algorithmic trading
Series #7, 63
Unix experience
Transact Tools experience
