We’re facing some issues with customers that are struggling to take advantage of RC2 due to lack of RC2 codecs.
Is anyone aware of any timescales to releasing RC2 codec?
@gabrieldumitru are you referring to software for encoding and decoding SBE messages? The SBE utilities made available by FIX in GitHub are here. However, there is only a validator and only for SBE v1.0 messages.
There are a few GitHub projects that provide SBE encoders and decoders, e.g. https://github.com/real-logic/simple-binary-encoding. FIX encourages open-source projects from the user community for tools related to FIX Technical Standards.

Yes, I was referring to software for encoding/decoding related to SBE v2 messages.
As I understand there is no plan for releasing a v2 RC2 decoder for the time being.
