The FIX Certification Program is just what you need!! FPL commissioned the Certification Working Group to create a centralized testing facility to solve exactly these types of issues. The program is based on a reference implementation of FIX 4.4 for trading US Treasury, Corporate and Agency products for the pre, trade, and post-trade lifecycles.
By basing your implementation on these sets of tests and scripts, your firm can drastically reduce the amount of time and effort associated with connecting to trading partners. The protocol will continue to be extended by forward-thinking firms to satisfy unique business requirements, but this program lays a foundation that provides for the most efficient and extensible solutions.
Participation is free for all FPL member, and at least one of the certification vendors provides the service at no cost to anyone. For more information, please visit:
