Two Sigma Investments, a technology-centric trading company based in New York City, seeks talented developers to join our highly motivated team. Technology-centric means that we’re all about trading better by building better technology than the other guys. You will be part of a team that builds, extends and maintains our real-time high-performance trading system that trades 24 hours a day, 5 days a week. Ideally you’re one to four years out of college with a computer science degree; finance experience is not required. Our systems are primarily Java, with critical sections in C++ and some shell scripting. We are dedicated to using the best software practices – unit testing, documentation, design patterns, real project plans, instrumentation, metrics, peer review and design presentations. Skill in soccer, ping-pong, foosball or Lightning Reaction a plus.
