Java engine?

Imported from previous forum

Hello,
We are searching for good FIX engines written in Java. We are also considering writing a Java engine ourselves. A problem is that we don’t have any test environment where we can evaluate the correctness of an implementation.

Does anyone know any good Java engines or reference implementations?

Is there any tools for testing and validating the protocol implementation?

Is there any certification mechanism available?

Thanks for any help
Peter Johansson

Hello Pete!

I was wondering if you had any replies from your request outside of the realm of this web site.

We also are interested in finding out any information about FIX engine via Java.

Thanks in advance for any information !

You can try cameron FIX freeware.
You need to send an e-mail to sales@cameronsystems.com to get a copy.
I am using it to get to know more about FIX since I am a beginner to FIX.

or you can try Coppelia from http://www.javtech.com.
