A world-class financial firm in NYC is currently seeking expert C++ developers to join their infrastructure development team in NYC. Ideal candidates should have at least 3 years experience developing real-time, high-throughput systems. Must have expert level knowledge of unix/linux internals, TCP/IP networking, multithreading, and have experience developing at the kernel level. Technical ability is crucial, therefore financial experience is not needed, although certainly a nice-to-have.
The candidate will work in a global team responsible for designing,
building and maintaining order management and automation systems to support the firm*s Equities trading businesses. Systems are high-throughput, realtime C++ and Java systems running on Solaris and Linux.
