Hi can u please clarify.
What is the difference between an Order-ID and Secondary Order-ID. In case the Order-ID is assigned by the exchange, is there a necessity of Secondary Order-ID

OrderID is the id assigned by the sellside firm which accepts the order from the customer. If this happens to be the same as the id assigned by the exchange, then SecondaryOrderID is not necessary (it is an optional field).
SecondaryOrderID was added to allow the allow the sellside firm to provide the exchange/market’s id reference to the order. It is important to note that SecondaryOrderID is supplemental data while OrderID and ClOrdID are the primary ids upon which the order flow semantics are based.
