The Global Technical Committee has reviewed and preliminarily approved the Eurex Reference Data Extensions. Within the Eurex Group, the Eurex Exchange, the International Securities Exchange and the European Energy Exchange provide reference data for derivatives. This proposal comprises a number of extensions to the standard FIX reference data messages and components as well as a number of new components and a single new message, the MarketDataReport message.
The document now enters a public comment period in which public review and feedback is encouraged. Once the public comment period closes, the Global Technical Governance Board will meet to review public comments before final approval.
