The Global Technical Committee has reviewed and preliminarily approved the Parties Reference Data Transaction Proposal. Following the release of FIX 5.0 SP2, FPL approved three Extension Packs to facilitate exchange of Party Reference Data details, Risk Limit, and Entitlement information. Parties Reference Data Extensions (EP105) first introduced messages that allowed for requesting and reporting of party reference data details.
This proposal expands on the set of messages introduced in EP105 to include new messages that allow the definition of party reference data details to be communicated, as well as the ability for entitlement information to be defined and updated.
The document now enters a public comment period in which public review and feedback is encouraged. Once the public comment period closes, the Global Technical Governance Board will meet to review public comments before final approval.
