The Global Technical Committee has reviewed and preliminarily approved the FIX-over-TLS (FIXS) Technical Standard RC1 and its Stunnel User Guide. FIXS is the standard to secure FIX sessions using the Transport Layer Security (TLS) protocol. It introduces a basic level of security and standard options for interoperability.
This release candidate now enters a public comment period in which public review and feedback is encouraged. The public comment period will run for a period of 90 days beginning on the 21st of August 2017.
