QA Automation Performance Manager-NYC-Real-time web Trading System
This role is for someone who is ready to move from very strong Tech to a Tech lead; maybe managed a couple of people. Would love to see candidates that have worked for ECN like organizations, have a strong knowledge of FIX and automated testing tools around FIX. Again,someone who is also more “hands on” and not purely a manager. Very competitve comp for the right individual.
The QA Automation Performance Manager will manage a small team of staff to provide full lifecycle QA support for our products. The QA Automation Performance Manager will work with a team to review specifications, develop and execute tests based on the specifications, and report results to QA, development and product management. This is for a real time web based trading system.
- Demonstrate understanding of product functionality and architecture.
- Review functional and design specifications.
- Develop test cases and scripts to validate assigned functionality of new releases.
- Execute test scripts and report findings.
- Supervise staff, build and develop a team of resources.
Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology or other field requiring strong analytical and problem solving skills.
Ĩ Ability to create a Reference Testing Strategy that defines and describes standardized testing processes, artifacts, deliverables, environments and organizational structures;
Ĩ Ability to work with system requirements authors and drive the process of creating testing requirements and production readiness requirements for enterprise systems and applications;
Ĩ Demonstrated understanding of the application of test management tools and test infrastructure components in the support of requirements traceability, test coverage analysis, system stability tracking and production readiness assessments;
Ĩ Understanding of the design, implementation and application of regression test automation methodologies and architectures;
Ĩ Understanding of performance and stability testing strategies and methodologies with experience of leading performance and load testing tools;
Ĩ Experience with test environment management and the design and implementation of test data management best practices and environment load and refresh strategies;
Ĩ Experience with QA and testing metrics identification, definition, (automated) collection, summarization and reporting;
Ĩ Ideally candidate will have an understanding of supporting IT processes outside of the QA and testing space include configuration management, change management, release planning and deployment;
Ĩ Ideally candidate will have sufficient experience with (off-shore) vendor management to coordinate the testing, validation and acceptance of IT deliverables created offshore and delivered to on-shore test facilities.
This is a full-time job in Manhattan. It is not a consulting role.
