We are re-activating the Futures & Options Working Group in order to focus on standardization of the usage of FIX 4.2 for futures and options trading. Specifically focusing on complex order definition and trading, market data dissemination, market making using mass quote messages, extended trading hours, and distribution of standing data. We are interested in firms involved in derivatives trading, as well as exchanges implementing FIX for derivatives trading. The Technical Committee has asked me to lead this effort. Please contact me if you are interested in participating in this group.
