I am looking for a way to search all fields that are of type ‘Tenor’…
Any idea’s how I can find them? (other than grep in the repository…)
The easiest way to do this in FIXimate is to go to Fields → by Datatype - which will sort the fields by Datatype. However, Tenor is a tough one because it is not a base datatype of fields it is used for SettlType field as an additional datatype.
And, please if eTradingsoftware makes one contribution - bust Tenor out of SettlType for Fixed Income (some of us are pushing for this for FX OTC Options) and let’s convert to industry standard conventions for values 1M, 1Y, etc. instead of M1, Y1, etc.
