Hi,
For an options contract with Futures as the underline, how can one identify the security ID/Symbol of the Futures in the security description. The futures contract are in repeating group separated with $ symbol.
The above query is in relation to the commodities contract (Futures and Options).

Could you elaborate further on your question? For which commodity exchange your question pertains to? Generally we can identify a security symbol either in tag 55, tag 22/48, tag 107 in a fix message.
