’‘strategy panel can not have ‘state rule’ as a child element to allow validation’’. Does anyone know how to deal with this? thanks in advance

I think that you are going to have to provide more detail. So, you have a FIXatdl file that renders and operates without issue for you in atdl4j (SWT, or possibly Swing edition), but your client runs into that error when they use it (presumably using a different FIXatdl implementation)? What FIXatdl renderer/implementation is the client using? If the client removes or comments out the strategy (or strategy panel) under suspicion, does it then work properly? (a lot of times you can debug file issues by starting small and with something working, and then add piece-by-piece to it until it breaks) If you suspect your FIXatdl XML may be the problem, then it would help to provide a snippet of the with enclosed in question (not necessarily entire file contents.)

Hi Scott,
Thanks for your quick response. If the client remove the ‘StateRule’ the xml works fine with their app.But we do need to keep it to do some validation for us.I am not sure what version of FIXatdl renderer/implementation they are using but told me they follow "FIXatdl-1 1-Specification_with_Errata_20101221“

I discussed this offline with Ghalib. Turned out the file had elements associated elements, however, only goes along with a . Those entries were not helping, so I believe he plans to remove them.
