Treasury desk seeks Application Support Specialist--NYC

Application support technician (3-5yr experience) to support trading Applications on Treasury and Agency desks. The position involves constant interaction with traders and sales people, as well as the development team. Daily responsibilities include general production support, problem tracking and resolution, working with other groups to track problems.

General:
Knowledge of trading floor environment is preferred with basic Fixed Income knowledge. The individual should be able to work well under pressure. Has to be detail-oriented, responsible individual with good communication skills and some exposure to real-time trading systems.

Technical skills:
Good working knowledge of Windows 2000 (or general Windows environment). Good knowledge of Microsoft Office (excel, word, ms access).
Nice to have: Familiarity with Real-time Market Data systems, such as Triach, Reuters* Kobra, ECNs (eSpeed, BrokerTec, Garban).
