Usage of DeliverToCompID

Hi All,

I have received an order request message with the following Tags,

SenderCompID = AGM1
TargerCompID = ELX
OnBehalfOfID = TRD1.

Should I send TAG DeliverToCompID for all responses related to the order request ?

Please note: (Responses could be Acknowledgment/Confirmation of orders, Rejections, Trade confirmation etc.,)

Any kind of information or suggestions will be appreciated.

Yes if the sender is some type of an order router, then it will probably expect the DeliverToCompID tag to be populated correctly to enable it to route the respose messages back to the order originator. Note that some order routers can figure out the reverse route regardless of whether DeliverToCompID is populated, but in general it is best to reflect the value of OnBehalfOfCompID into DeliverToCompID.
