Hi Folks,

I have a fairly simple question.

  1. What is the purpose of the tag 128 - Delivertocompid and what is it used for ?
  2. Is the tag 128 ever used to specify the execution point to route an order to ?
  3. What value could one use for the tag 100 (Ex Destination) in New order single for execution points that do not have a Reuters Exchange Mnemonic. ?

Thank you.
Ramesh

ExDestination is used to identify a specific market/exchange you wish to have an order routed to. The CompIDs are used to identify a specific firm. DeliverToCompID is the equivalent of "TargetCompID" when using a service bureau or a single FIX session representing multiple firms. For more detail on the use of the DeliverToCompID please see "Standard Message Header" within "SESSION PROTOCOL" in the FIX 4.2 spec.
