Use of tags 47 and 528

Dear GTC,

Question arising from business practices subcommittee. Use of tags 47 and 528 on execution report messages - am I right in thinking that, where used on execution reports, they should have the same values as supplied on the original orders?

Tag 528 OrderCapacity is defined as “Designates the capacity of the firm placing the order.”. The capacity in which an order is placed cannot change due to it being accepted or executed by the venue. Where does the insecurity come from? Almost 100% of the attributes provided with an order are simply echoed back as part of the ExecutionReport message.

Note that tag 47 has been replaced with tag 528 and is only valid up to FIX 4.2.
