I would like to know who uses fast protocol and when they started using it. Where can I find the information? Thanks.
Most of the major exchanges use FAST, us included (since 2007 I believe). I suggest to visit exchange websites to find out more. I am unaware of a consolidated list.

That is a good list but it does not tell you about FAST unless it is part of the feed name. Eurex and Xetra both use FAST but are called Enhanced Broadcast Solution. CME also uses FAST but is called CME FAST FIX.
Maybe NYSE will add a “Encoding” column (ASCII, FAST, Proprietary,…) one day…
