Long term contract position in Boston MA 3months-1 year
Need a back-end Java Developer, experienced with the FIX trading protocol, to code, maintain and test programs, modules and classes to be used in equity trading applications. Responsibilities include coding/maintaining programs utilizing existing developmental and quality assurance standards; systems testing; and production migration. This position supports both technical and application development tasks as assignments may vary over the project life cycle. The individual should be a problem solver with good analytical and programming skills. Consultant should have solid programming experience in Java, XML, and must be proficient in SQL queries and PL/SQL. Any C++ experience would be a plus, though not required. Good communication and analytical skills are required. This position demands the ability to multi-task in an extremely complex and fast paced environment.
