FIXcel is Apt’s low cost entry into trading with the FIX protocol by FIX enabling any Excel spreadsheet
Edinburgh, Scotland, 13 December 2002 - Apt Computer Systems Limited, a leading vendor of FIX (Financial Information eXchange) engines and connectivity software tools for the financial world, announces that Bulltick LLC, a company that offers premier electronic trading services (equities and options) in some of the world’s major stock exchange markets (U.S., Europe and Latin America) has deployed FIXcel on its European ADR (American Depository Receipts) arbitrage trading desks. Bulltick’s international presence has enabled the firm to capture an important percentage of ADR trading in the New York Stock Exchange, its current market participation in some countries is in excess of 8% (considering total NYSE trading volume on ADR’s of a particular country). Bulltick’s large market share in executing and clearing ADR’s allows clients to enjoy both anonymity and efficiency.
