Business Analyst – OMS Integration

Major Electronic Trading Firm has a brand new opportunity for a Business Analyst with Order Management System experience.
This resource will serve as the Firm’s primary contact for OMS integration partners on day-to-day issues. Responsibilities include the development and ongoing support of OMS integrations to the Firm with the internal development and QA teams in addition to coordination with the OMS vendors and third party consultants in support of the interfaces. This resource is expected to write and maintain specifications for integrations between the Firm and various Buy Side OMS products and proprietary systems and assure that these integrations are well tested and maintained.
Qualifications
• In-depth knowledge of at least one buy-side or sell-side order management system
• Experience implementing and/or supporting Order Management Software in a production environment
• Excellent communication skills
• Experience writing detailed business requirements
• Working knowledge of SQL and ability to perform ad hoc queries in a standard RDBMS
• Understanding of the software product lifecycle
• Understanding of the FIX protocol and its application is a plus
• Functional understanding of middleware applications
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
