Candidates will have significant experience with Financial Information Exchange (FIX) Protocol.

Description:
FIX Developer focused on Equity Trading Systems; must have experience with FIX messaging to/from broker-dealers and demonstrated proficiency integrating FIX with live trading applications
Client is converting to a new FIX engine - Cameron. This individual will be reponsible for work related to that conversion as well as Oracle (some Java) development thereafter.
Looking for developer and/or support person with experience establishing, testing, maintaining, and troubleshooting live FIX connections to broker-dealers; should also have experience integrating a mainstream vendor-provided FIX engine.
Candidates MUST also have some experience with Oracle Development - some Java DEFINITIE plus.
Behavior Characteristics:
team player, willingness to be coached but still offer ideas, able to communicate with technical and business people. Consultant wil lhave excellent verbal and written comm. skills.
