Various options are now available for the buy side dealer to directly place orders across various sell sides and exchanges. These trading front ends are in addition to regular terminals for market data feed, internal applications, etc. This can become a big problem for the buy side dealers as they would have to handle and operate multiple front ends. To resolve this situation, is there any development happening towards consolidation of the buy side dealer front ends towards a single multi-purpose front end? If yes, who are the software vendors?

Hi Vivek, We do have consolidated Buyside Front-ends available. EG: The Bloomberg Terminal allows the buyside to monitor market data, place orders to various brokers/exchanges and also connect to the buyside OMS which operates via bloomberg terminals to maintain their portfolio positions as well.
