DRESDNER KLEINWORT WASSERSTEIN SELECTS CAMERONFIX
TO TRADE ON EURONEXT USING FIX

NEW YORK, July 2, 2002 — Cameron Systems today announced investment bank Dresdner Kleinwort Wasserstein (DrKW) has selected CameronFIX for trading on the Euronext exchange. Cameron Systems’ flagship product and leading FIX engine, CameronFIX, is currently in production at DrKW.

Euronext, the pan-European exchange, utilizes a ‘non-pure’ implementation of the FIX protocol and therefore requires an adapter that sits between the FIX engine and Euronext, to facilitate Straight Through Processing.

Dresdner Kleinwort Wasserstein developed its own Euronext Adapter using CameronFIX, a leading FIX engine implementation for the FIX protocol, to further advance its strategic objective for faster connectivity and easier access when trading on Euronext.

In an agreement also announced today, DrKW has now signed over the intellectual property and global sales rights for this Euronext Adapter to Cameron Systems. Going forward, Cameron Systems will sell the adapter — the CameronFIX Euronext Adapter — globally. The benefits for firms adopting the CameronFIX Euronext Adapter include reduced risk and cost to business. To date, firms have relied on developing their own in-house adapters to enable FIX conversion to the Euronext standard.

"We found CameronFIX to be a very flexible engine that could be configured quickly to the specific format required when communicating with the Euronext exchange," said Ian Frith, Head of Client Connectivity, DrKW. "CameronFIX together with the Euronext adapter is now in production and working well." DrKW generally use Financial Fusion’s FIX engine for a FIX engine solution, however they have selected CameronFIX to communicate with Euronext due to its flexibility.

"Interest in using FIX through Euronext is increasing," said John Cameron, Chief Technology Officer, Cameron Systems. "We intended bringing a Euronext adapter to market during Q3 2002, however we found that DrKW had developed a new adapter solution using CameronFIX that was working well, and therefore we were happy to negotiate the rights for this."

CameronFIX 6.0 supports the latest version of the FIX Protocol — Version 4.3. CameronFIX 6.0 is the fifth major release for Cameron Systems since launching in 1997.

Cameron Systems will be exhibiting at Sibos, Geneva, Switzerland, September 30 — October 4, 2002.
