A large broker/dealer in New York is looking for a senior programmer to handle the implementation of a new FIX engine. This position is responsible for managing the FIX connectivity to clients and exchanges using a mixture of direct FIX connections and third party vendors, overseeing the integration of FIX adapter to the in-house OMS and support of FIX connectivity issues for the company.
Required Skills
- Minimum 2 years experience working with FIX Engines and Protocols - focus is implementation and connectivity not engine development
- 3 years trading system, order management/order routing experience, middleware systems
- Prefer previous development experience in a brokerage/banking environment – C++, Java
