Large NYC (US) investment bank requires an experienced technical Fix Support Analyst / Client Manager to deal with the banks counterparties.
Candidate will liaise with banks clients over the telephone and ‘face to face’ dealing with technical queries and support issues.

Description:

Provide 1st and 2nd level support for production and development FIX engines for all clients customers. Extensive use of the following involves supporting FIX Engines, Hubs and FIX Monitoring tools: FIX, XML, SQL, TCP/IP, Firewalls, Ksh, Bash, Batch Scripts, Shell Scripts, Solaris, W2K/XP, Linux, SSH, SSL, PGP, MySQL, Apache, Jboss/TomCat

Will be involved in working with both support and development staff for customers to integrate clients applications into existing infrastructure, this involves troubleshooting different middleware’s (MQ, Tibco, Sockets, etc.), application development, and network parameters across Solaris, Linux and Windows platforms. Involves knowledge of shell scripts and batch file programming.
• Support and manage FIX certification with clients to Brokers.
• Provide onsite installation and implementation of FIX engines
• Provide onsite client FIX training to new and existing clients
• Provide ongoing support for evaluation clients who are new to FIX
• Will be experienced at working with non-technical and technical users and communicating between the two.

• Provide Sales support to Senior Account Executives and Regional Sales manager on all clients products
• Perform product demonstrations to leading global banks and institutions on new Products managing the technical sales process of FIX implementation.

• Perform Annual and quarterly client reviews, auditing client environments and promoting clients software. Responsible for keeping clients up-to-date with patch releases, new product notifications and product enhancements.
• Conduct onsite appraisals of FIX infrastructure and made recommendations on how to better use of clients FIX engine.

• Work with clients on feature requests and new functionality and create functional specifications for feedback into Development.
