FPL Unveils Redesigned Job Postings Site

Imported from previous forum

December 20, 2005 – FIX Protocol Limited (FPL) is pleased to announce the launch of their redesigned job postings site. This new fee-based facility is prominently displayed within the FIX website (fixprotocol.org) appearing as a menu item under “FPL services”.

Included in the website enhancements are a system for purchasing credits used to post jobs and a multi-parameter job search option. Job-seekers and employers will be able to narrow their searches for a particular job using keywords, region, job category, or any combination thereof. In addition, automatic email notification of new job postings will continue to be a feature and can be easily subscribed to through the FIX website.

The FIX website previously offered a free help wanted discussion forum. This special opt-in forum has been the website’s most active discussion forum in 2005 averaging approximately 3 posts per day by hiring firms. Each post is currently distributed via email to over 1500 subscribers.

The new system requires credits to post jobs or extend previously posted jobs. These credits are easily purchased via the website. FPL’s mission of maintaining and promoting the FIX Protocol will be enhanced in two ways by the service: the fees collected from job postings will be used to help pay FPL’s everyday operating expenses, while the enhanced functionality of the website will help facilitate the placement of FIX-related professionals in FIX-related positions. The new job posting site offers a tremendous upgrade over the prior help wanted forum, further solidifying its position as the premier location for recruiting FIX-trained individuals.
