Hi all,

I am a recruitment consultant and I have recently acquired a client who has a heavy requirement for FIX.

I unfortunately do not know anything about this protocol and I would be very grateful if you could assist me by sharing your knowledge about what it does and why they use it? Also, are there any particular places I could advertise or magazines that would give me a little more information that you know of?

I’m sure you are bombarded by numerous e-mails and phonecalls from people such as myself in the dreaded industry of recruitment(!) but I would greatly appreciate any help you are able to offer.

The FIX Protocol website (http://www.fixprotocol.org) is the central place for FIX Protocol information. In terms of your second question, the FIX Protocol website provides a Job Postings service (http://www.fixprotocol.org/jobs) which would be an ideal place to target those with FIX expertise. Note that job postings are emailed to approximately 2000 subscribers.
