My Investment Banking client requires an experienced Java developer to develop and implement a range of systems designed to support the front office requirements.
These Java based solutions encapsulate middleware (MQ), FIX gateways for message exchange to clients, and databases to store transaction, static, and other related information, as well as intranet based applications.
You will need to have several years experience working within an Investment Banking environment, specifically within a J2EE based development team. You will also have at least 2 years exposure to Equity based financial products. Other key skills include several years coding experience of Java using JDK 1.3 or later, excellent understanding of the FIX protocol at version 4.2 or later, Servlets & JSPs, HTML & Javascript, SQL / Stored Procedures, excellent understanding of MOM, especially MQ Series, EJB’s & experience of various containers & their management (especially SUN One Application Server and/or JBoss ).
Only those with solid investment banking experience can be considered.
