Overview:
A new back office system has recently been implemented for a single product and the product coverage now needs to be enhanced on this platform to cover all of Capital Markets for the bank.
Responsibilities:
To project manage the implementation and enhancement of the current back office system to support new financial products or global implementation is several sites.
Directly responsible for the entire project lifecycle from inception to implementation.
•Working closely with the key stakeholders to ensure timely and on-budget delivery of the project.
•Managing the gathering of requirements, development, conversion from the legacy system and implementation of the project.
•Definition of strategy and roadmap for delivery.
•Management of full product implementation in a site.
Essential Experience:
•A minimum of 3 years previous experience with either, Middle office, Back office, or Finance systems and processes.
•A minimum of 5 years experience of working within the financial sector.
•A proven track record of managing large IT projects and programmes.
•Working knowledge and experience of iterative development process preferably RUP.
•Management of IT projects involving product rollouts within financial services.
•Management of regulatory projects
•Management of large projects under matrix management.
•Experience of working within an investment banking environment.
•Either a strong business analysis or technical background
