Hello,
We (NYFIX Millennium) need to create a FIX Market Mnemonic (tag 30) for a our ECN/ATS that will be going live soon. Who is the "official" keeper of this list? Appendix C of the fix protocol spec calls this list the "Reuters Exchange Mnemonics". Can we submit this to the fixprotocol.org for inclusion on this web site, and updated versions of the spec? Our proposed Mnemonic is "ML" (NYFIX Millennium)

NYFIX Inc.
If "ML" is defined by Reuters then we can use it, otherwise, we are assigning sequential numbers to "others" to prevent conflict and confusion in case "ML" were later defined by Reuters. See "Tech Resources", "Exchange Codes" list of "Other" values. If you wish, we can assign you one of the other numbers.

Hi Scott,
Thanks for the help. A number would be fine (posit is already listed this way). Please assign us a number under "other".
Thanks!

NYFIX Millennium has been assigned Custom Exchange identifier "13". You can see this under "Tech Resources", "Exchange Codes".
