Hello All,
We have currently been requested to provide our “FIX Exchange code” by one of our clients. Would anyone be able to provide me with some direction in how to register for an Exchange Mnemonic as an ATS?
Thanks,
–Sean Kirkpatrick

With FIX version 4.3 the definition of LastMkt(30) changed from Reuters Exchange Mnemonic to ISO 10383 Market Identifier Code (MIC). The registrar for MICs is the S.W.I.F.T. organization.

Thanks, Dean. I took a look at S.W.I.F.T, but I’m not certain that an MIC is what we are looking for.
We would like to obtain an ATS exchange code similar to the ones listed on the FPL website:
http://www.fixprotocol.org/specifications/ex_other.shtml
Can anyone tell me where these codes are generated?
Thanks,
Sean
