NEW YORK – November 16 ,2004 – Javelin Technologies®, a FIX industry pioneer and wholly-owned subsidiary of NYFIX, Inc.® (NASDAQ: NYFX), today announced that the Company has completed development of its automated FIX testing and certification tool, FIXertifier. The FIXertifier tools were being utilized internally for FIX testing and certification purposes will now be made commercially available
“With the expansion of our NYFIX Network both domestically and internationally and our European and Far Eastern data center hubs coming online, we are installing over 200 FIX connections each month. With that kind of workload, the need for automated testing tools was a priority for NYFIX, and the Javelin FIX technology has made this process very efficient for us,” commented Keith Jamaitis, President of NYFIX USA.
As one of the designated vendors selected by the FIX Protocol Limited for its Fixed Income Certification Initiative, Javelin has been preparing the launch of this initiative by implementing the FPL-generated test scripts and cross-certifying with other designated vendors. “We are pleased to be a part of the FPL initiative and look forward to the Fixed Income community using our certification facilities when the program is officially launched by FPL in the near term,” added Mr. Jamaitis.
