Is it acceptable for fields within a nested RDG to be used without using the fields of the higher RDG. Specifically, with the Mass Quote, is the following a valid message definition…
Standard Header,117-QuoteID,295-NoQuoteEntries,299-QuoteEntryID,Standard Trailer
If it is valid then I suppose we are saying that a nested RDG could in fact be the first level in the hierarchy?
The definition indicates that 296-NoQuoteSets is required, but then indicates that the value should default to 1 if not set.
Any comments?
