Silicon Summit Selects Cameron Systems’
FIX Engine Technology
BURLINGAME, California & New York, NY – June 20, 2002. Silicon Summit Technologies (SST) today announced an agreement with Cameron Systems to use the CameronFIX engine within SST’s FixConnect service. FixConnect is rapidly becoming a single point of entry into the global securities industry’s FIX (Financial Information eXchange) messaging network. Investment banks, broker dealers and institutions have found FixConnect’s combination of security, performance and reliability, available on a monthly subscription basis, to be a timely solution to requirements for FIX messaging and order management applications.
The CameronFIX engine, deployed since 1997, is a scalable implementation of the FIX protocol that enables Straight Through Processing of securities, fixed income, futures, options, foreign exchange and other financial products. CameronFIX is mature, fast and highly scalable, and has won more customers than other any competing FIX engine during 2002.
